The Golden Age Of Swing – Midland Concert Orchestra
The Midland Concert Orchestra celebrate the Golden Age of Swing.
From Gershwin to Goodman, from Henderson to Hines ; for one night only the Swan Theatre will become New York in the 1930’s.
The Midland Concert Orchestra (formerly the West Midland Light Orchestra) are a cross-genre Orchestra that perform across Birmingham, Worcestershire, and Warwickshire. Made up of a ‘big band with strings attached’, the group derive much of their repertoire from the Great American Songbook, the music of Broadway, and a range of Jazz styles from decades gone by”.
