Gheluvelt Park is a memorial park built in honour of those lost in the First World War.
The park is home to the very popular splashpad (see website for opening hours) - bring a picnic and spend the day! The playground has separate areas for younger and older children.
It straddles Barbourne Brook and has two distinct areas - a park to the east, and an informal area managed for wildlife conservation to the west, next to the River Severn.
