Severn Arts Summer Festival

Join us at Worcester Guildhall where all Severn Arts music centre groups, orchestras & bands will perform for what is set to be a wonderful day of music making!  Additionally, you can also see some of the artwork from the Young Voices New Visions Exhibition and listen to some budding poets. Providing something for everyone on a day where everyone is welcome and encouraged to get involved! You can read more about our Summer Festival on our website (which we will continue to update as we get closer to the event).

10:00 – Combined Music Centre Lift Off! groups

10:45 – Soundabout Choir

11:30 – Combined Music Centre Concert Bands

12:15 – Combined Music Centre String Orchestras

13:00 – Worcestershire Intermediate Orchestra

13:45 – Worcestershire Youth Concert Band

14:30 – Worcestershire Youth Orchestra

15:15 – Worcestershire Youth Jazz Orchestra (joined by Worcestershire Youth String Orchestra)

Solo performances will also be running throughout the day

The Music Box will be parked outside and is packed with digital music-making equipment including DJ decks, electronic drum machines, synthezisers and vocal booth. Come and see what sounds you can create.

High Street Outside the Guildhall: 

Solo and small group performances happening throughout the day.

Scripthaven Cafe: 

Poetry readings (schedule TBC)
