Gala Premiere of “Rescuing Chopin” – A True Story with live music

Written in early 2020, “Rescuing Chopin” – A True Story in 2 Acts is dedicated to the human endeavor of finding and restoring the missing Statue of Chopin originating from Southbank, London which disappeared for 37 years!  Discover its return on 18th May 2011 to its original place with the help of the Homeless of Cardboard City!  The Times newspaper on the day reported the whole story as: “Search ends on a High Note”.

This 2 Act Play is directed by the renowned British director Timothy Crow.  British Premiere of RESCUING CHOPIN will be performed in the historic Worcester, at The Guildhall on Saturday 27th January 2024 at 7:00 PM.

We are now presenting a very unique drama and musical experience.

There will be a cast of four stage roles representing the narrative and the actual story as well as the special pianist performing some carefully selected beautiful music of this great composer, featuring our special pianist Janine Parsons, head of Elgar School of Music in Worcester.

We are delighted to be able to stage this unique event in the Guildhall Worcester which is a truly beautiful building dating back to 1721.
